What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Supervise the Accounts Payable team in processing payments and ensuring compliance with guidelines
• Oversee daily operations, including workflow management and the implementation of internal controls
• Review complex transactions for appropriate handling and documentation for audits
• Provide leadership, training, and support to staff, monitoring work quality and efficiency
• Serve as a liaison with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment issues

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Education, training, and/or experience in Business/Public Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Good critical thinking skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
• Prior experience and/or education in accounting and operational management
• Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience in a leadership capacity within financial services or accounting
• Familiarity with state and federal compliance regulations
• Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to enhance operational efficiency
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with various stakeholders
