Job Description

Job Description

NPSG Global, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Procurement to lead our sourcing, contracting, and vendor management functions in alignment with our turnkey solutions for supply chain, material handling, technology deployment, and facility infrastructure projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring that NPSG’s procurement strategies directly support our mission to deliver scalable, cost-efficient, and high-quality solutions for Fortune 500 companies and leading logistics providers.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing best-in-class procurement processes across diverse categories—including construction services, warehouse automation equipment, material handling systems, IT hardware/software, subcontractor labor, and logistics services. You will drive supplier performance, build scalable sourcing frameworks, and optimize value throughout the Source-to-Pay lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a procurement business plan that aligns with NPSG’s rapid growth and long-term strategic objectives in construction, technology deployment, and facility services.
  • Establish and roll out enterprise-wide procurement policies and procedures that ensure compliance, efficiency, and cost control across all business units.
  • Serve as the primary procurement advisor to operations, project management, and executive leadership—providing expertise in supplier selection, contract negotiation, and risk management.
  • Design sourcing strategies that identify and qualify regional and global suppliers across critical categories, with a focus on scalability, supplier diversity, and innovation.
  • Oversee and support budget preparation, cost estimation, and contract negotiations for high-value projects involving equipment, subcontractor services, and international suppliers.
  • Build and manage a preferred supplier program that strengthens vendor performance, enforces compliance, and drives cost efficiencies across NPSG’s partner network.
  • Lead material sourcing and purchasing efforts for large-scale distribution centers and facility build-outs, ensuring on time, on-budget delivery.
  • Negotiate master service agreements and vendor partnerships to ensure flexibility, cost savings, and performance accountability.
  • Manage and cultivate strategic relationships with a diverse portfolio of vendors—including equipment manufacturers, subcontractors, technology providers, and logistics partners.
  • Implement measurable KPIs to monitor supplier performance, ensure continuous improvement, and align with NPSG’s project delivery timelines.
  • Proactively research market trends and anticipate supply chain risks, adjusting sourcing strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Lead the RFX process (RFP, RFQ, RFI) from initiation to award, ensuring transparency, competitiveness, and value creation.
  • Integrate procurement processes during M&A activity or new market expansion, leveraging increased spend for improved terms and supplier consolidation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive leadership in Procurement/Strategic Sourcing, with demonstrated success managing diverse categories such as construction services, capital equipment, IT solutions, and subcontractor management.
  • 3+ years building and implementing procurement policies and governance across a multi-location or project-driven organization.
  • Proven experience managing $100M+ in annual spend with a track record of YOY savings and improved supplier engagement.
  • Strong background in indirect sourcing and vendor management for labor, technology, and professional services.
  • Proficiency in ERP and Contract Management platforms; experience in system selection and implementation strongly preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This job description should not be interpreted as the exclusive responsibilities of the position. Employees will follow any other instructions and perform any other related duties, as may be required by their Manager.
