Overview:

We’re looking for a talented Mechanical Drafter to join our team and assist in creating precise 2D and 3D models for custom equipment used in the energy and industrial sectors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming technical concepts into detailed designs that guide real-world fabrication.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop technical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or related CAD software
• Collaborate with engineers and project leaders to interpret design specs and produce accurate representations
• Create and manage parts lists, material breakdowns, and documentation to support production
• Modify existing designs based on engineering updates or project changes
• Ensure all drawings align with internal quality standards, safety requirements, and best practices
• Assist production teams by clarifying design details and supporting issue resolution
• Organize and track revisions and drawing histories across projects
• Participate in team meetings focused on improving design processes and manufacturing efficiency

What You’ll Bring:

• A technical certificate or associate degree in drafting or mechanical design (preferred)
• 3+ years of relevant drafting experience in manufacturing or industrial design
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, CADWorx, Advance Steel, or similar software
• Familiarity with industrial piping, mechanical components, or energy systems is a strong plus
• Strong accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Clear communication and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-moving environment
• Dependable attendance and a proactive work ethic
