Physician - Corporate Wellness Clinic Employer: A California physician-owned professional corporation (the "PC").
Administrative Agent: VitalCheck Wellness Inc. (non-clinical support only).
Location: San Francisco, CA 94105.
Job Type: W-2, Part-Time.
Schedule: 2 days a week (Mondays and Tuesdays; 7:45am-5:30pm).
Pay Range: Starting at 140,000 per year.
Full Description VitalCheck Wellness, as administrative agent for the PC, is looking for a
Physician to work in an established corporate wellness clinic in
San Francisco, CA . This is a great opportunity for someone interested in working in a corporate wellness clinic where you will have the ability to be an integral part of the care process. We are looking for a dynamic leader to help drive patient engagement and education.
The employer will be a California professional corporation owned and directed by a licensed physician. The clinic will be located onsite at the offices of a major financial institution.
Responsibilities: - Lead Clinical Operations and the onsite team.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the clinic.
- Provide preventive care, primary care and urgent care services on site.
- Consult with patients to understand their health concerns. Guide, educate and support patients on their preventative care needs.
- Advise/refer patients for follow-up care.
- Provide telemedicine services as required.
- Creation of engagement activities for patients and event planning.
- Performance evaluations and team building.
Requirements: - MD/DO degree.
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience following residency training.
- Current license to practice in the state of California.
- Must hold active BLS/ ACLS certification.
- Board certification in Internal medicine or Family practice.
- Background in family practice and preventive care preferred.
- Preventive medicine oriented.
- Patient education driven.
- Desire to be part of the change in our current healthcare system.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Must be able to reliably commute to San Francisco, CA.
