ProSidian Seeks a Program Specialist | Classification and Control Guidance Development, Revisions, and Review [EHSS0010014] Engagement Team | Project Manager Labor Category - STD Level Exempt Professional aligned under services related to NAICS: 541611 located Washington, DC supporting The Office of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) is The Department of Energy (DOE)'s central organization responsible for health, safety, environment, and security; providing corporate-level leadership and strategic vision to coordinate and integrate these vital programs. EHSS is responsible for policy development and technical assistance; safety analysis; and corporate safety and security programs. The Office of Environment, Health, Safety and Security advises DOE Senior Leadership on all matters related to environment, health, safety and security across the complex.

Seeking Program Specialist candidates with relevant Energy, Resources, And Industrials Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy, Resources, And Industrials Sector Clients such as EHSS. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Cost Reimbursement (Program Specialist) in the Energy, Resources, And Industrials Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as The Department of Energy (DOE | OC - EHSS) | Office of Classification (OC) | Office of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) Located In Washington, DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Program Specialist

  • Provide programmatic support for classification guidance development and policy revisions.
  • Assist in the coordination of meetings, correspondence, and approval packages for the Office of Technical Guidance.
  • Serve as a content manager for SharePoint on classified networks, ensuring that all classification guides and documents are up-to-date.
  • Support technical reviews and annual reconciliations of classification systems.
  • Manage logistic and administrative support for classified and unclassified meetings (e.g., Classification Guide Working Group, Classification Officer meetings).
  • Maintain central files, including classified removable electronic media (CREM).
Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Program Specialist | Classification and Control Guidance Development, Revisions, and Review Candidates:

  • Experience with program management and administrative support in government classification environments.
  • Familiarity with DOE classification and control policies.
  • Experience managing classified networks and document systems.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in program support, preferably within the DOE or other government agencies handling classified information.

Skills Required

  • Strong organizational and program coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in classified document systems and records management.
  • Ability to manage logistics for classified meetings and maintain central filing systems.

Competencies Required

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
