What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Develop streamlined tools and perform quantitative analyses to support reserving accuracy and optimize insurance program structure
• Build and maintain dashboards for in-depth loss analysis and actuarial indication
• Refine monthly performance reporting and support automation of workflows with senior actuaries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outputs on schedule
• Gather and reconcile data from various sources to support actuarial analyses

What is Required (Qualifications):

• 2-5 years of experience in a quantitative or analytics role within the insurance industry
• Understanding of statistical analysis including hypothesis testing, regression, and familiarity with statistical packages
• Experience managing relationships with partners across all organizational levels
• Completed at least 5 actuarial exams
• Strong Excel (or Google Sheets), SQL, and experience with ETL and Python (or R) preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Prior experience working with or for a gig or sharing economy company
• Experience in reserving and pricing and working with commercial auto insurance
